Low priority, but if you wouldn't adding that to your list, or I can tack it on the wish list if you like.

On another note, I had to reinstall today and I'm adding my recoccuring recordings back. I've added two programs that are M-F that should begin tomorrow 8/29/05, and that's how the recording info reads as well. However, both shows have no 8/29 recording pending/scheduled: they both are starting on Tues, 8/30???

If you're using Zap2It...
Make sure you have the box in Config called "don't record duplicates" unchecked. I had something similar occur when I turned that on. It thought i already had that particular episode recorded....

Jason, good catch. That's most likely what it is. I simply did a quick record on the Monday shows, but I'm sure I'll forget about it if I don't uncheck the dups box. BTW, either the the dups feature doesn't worky or it doesn't worky very well with Zap2it. Anyone else notice this?

It only works with zap2it, but is only as good as the unique show numbers that zap2it supply. Its widely known that these arent as good as they could be...

Wanted to ask you, Sub, if you think it would be too difficult to incorporate a filter that reads show names and IDs from a database, then reads the XMLTV file and adds showIDs from the database into the XMLTV file. If I wrote such a utility, would it help?
What are teh XMLTV tags I would need to use?
If we test it and find it works well, would you consider incorporating it into GBPVR?
