quirtep Wrote:Yes, I see the FusionHDTV USB ATSC option in the config area - but when I select it, select "Map digital channels to EPG channels" it gives me an error about not being able to start the BDA device. If I tell if to "Only show devices detected on this machine" it doesn't detect the FusionHDTV card that I have plugged in. If I just leave "Fusion HDTV-USB (ATSC)" as the device type and then then exit config and open GB-PVR, it tells me that I have no channels configured.zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

OK, the logs are attached. I also included a file called error.txt to which I pasted the debugging error message that gets displayed when I click "Map channels to EPG channels." When I do this, it first tells me: "GB-PVR was unable to start the BDA capture device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use." Then, when I click "OK" it comes up with an "unhandled exception" error which is what is contained in the error.txt file.
Thank you very much for the help.

Basically its looking for a component of the device you configured, but not finding it:
Quote:07:54:13.109 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Bluebird, BDA Tuner Can you run the filtercheck utility, then zip and attach the resulting filtercheck.log: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6

OK, the results are attached.

Try adding the following to bda.ini, then setup you capture source to use this device.
[Fusion HDTV-USB (ATSC) type2] TUNING_TYPE=ATSC RECEIVER_ONLY_MODE=1 FILTER_RECEIVER=Bluebird, BDA Tuner1 PIN_RECEIVER_IN=Input0 PIN_RECEIVER_OUT=Output1

It appears to have worked - it's scanning the channels right now, whereas before it always crashed before it got this far. Thank you very much.

I guess I spoke too soon. It did not find any channels when scanning. The software that came with the tuner finds about 12 channels, as does BeyondTV.

Well... I still cannot get gbpvr to find any channels when I select "Map Digital channels to EPG channels." Is there anything else I can try, or should I give up. Even though I have yet to see it work, I am impressed that a product as sophisticated as gbpvr exists and is freely available. I would love to get it to work, but if I cannot, I guess I'll have to use BeyondTV. Thanks for the help.

Try to do the scan again, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
