I just upgraded to 95.14 (just before 95.15 naturally)
- Channel changing up/down is MUCH faster than earlier releases. Direct channel selection is about the same
- Going to Timeshift seems a bit faster but I still have a problem with periodic 'pauses' in the display with TS mode on --- a frame or two every 10 seconds or s maybe but irritating.

Working fine for me now - deleting a recording no longer causes my MVP to crash and require a reboot Big Grin

Thanks for the new release sub, much appreciated.

Will upgrading installation mess with any of the plugins or settings I've done to get comskip to work?

Sub,

When I upgrade on top of 14, I get the following .NET Framework Error as config tries to start at the end of the install.

System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHException: External component has thrown an exception.
at _CxxThrowException(Void* , _s__ThrowInfo* )
at DirectShowPlayerVMR9.__ctor(DirectShowPlayerVMR9* )
at NativeUtilities.MediaHelper..ctor(String renderer)
at NativeUtilities.MediaHelper.getInstance()

at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e)
at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl()
...etc

I have to delete the install and reinstall 14 to get running again. I have tried deleting and reinstalling twice, still no go.

Thanks.

Nope.
To make sure, just copy the entire gbpvr folder to somewhere else on your hard drive, then install the upgrade. Test to see if it's working.

The only thing that may change, is the recording bitrate settings. If you edited them, they'll be back to their original state after upgrade, otherwise everything else remains intact.
You can never have enough tuners!

Tried to install this version over what I believe was a 93.xx version. Seemed to go fine. Will not run. Just an hour glass for half a sec then nothing. Recording service shows up in Task Manager and tray icon shows. Config app works normally. Did a system restore to restore functionality. Maybe a clean install?

Are you using the default skin? Otherwise the log's will probably show why it doesn't load.

MVP Screensaver working perfectly thank you so much.

I mainly use my mvp for playing music so this was actually really important to me although I would imagine of no real significance to most folk

thanks again for a great bit of software
