Interesting comment. There are a number of reasons why software may not work the first time you try it, and without searching the forums and asking questions, then you end up in your situation.

To say this software is not XP friendly is somewhat misleading. A number of people who are using GB-PVR are running XP (unfortunately). We could start guessing as to where the problem lies, but that will require you to give us more information.

Sorry to hear you experiences where not good, but hopefully you'll drop by again and we can help you out,

Im using XP pro, have had no OS specific issues so far. May move to 2003 eventually, but I still am wanting to try out MCE. Although the more I hear about their extenders, the less I like.

I'm using XP Pro SP2 and had no problem whatsoever. One might observe that XP is not user friendly, but stating that GB-PVR is not XP friendly is an interesting one (to say the least).
