Thank you =)

Fatman_do Wrote:The top green bar is on all screens.
Yes, this is correct. I am not sure, if i should put the RSS Feed on the Top, and Menu Title to the bottom, or vice versa. I am playing with this at the moment.

Fatman_do Wrote:The left dark gray bar is actually the background color in all screens.
Yeah, right. I wanna place the buttons on it.

Fatman_do Wrote:The bottom green bar is on the main menu only.
Yep, but not sure for which purpose: normally i don't often look down the picture, so there should be only Info, which i am not using often.

Fatman_do Wrote:The blue window (with gray border?) is the "Listview.png" for info boxes.
Yes, this is true. For TV (inset?) and Visuals from the WMP the whole size; otherwise splitted for Weather and other VA-Panels

Fatman_do Wrote:Your buttons will be whatever your idea there is. (Single picture, button with task image, no button, ect.) I will need to know this as well.
Yesterday you, or MixMan, posted a very good theme with really hot buttons! I like to use the bitmaps from these. They have 4 different states, i think. It's the one "Home Theater Control Center"; the buttons are wunderful. But i am thinking about double their width, because german language has often words which are longer then the englisch ones; but my wife don't understand any word in english.

Fatman_do Wrote:All plugins will only be 720x480 unless all plugins are reskinned (not all may support 16:9)
That's not the problem; after i finisched my personal Theme with your help, i'll go over to skin all the Plugins i am using. I don't think, that many people are interested in my skin (first work), so that i have to reskin all by myself... with your help ;-)
It's really important for me, to make it widerscreen. I don't like resizing, because it never looks really good.

Fatman_do Wrote:It is more difficult to skin these than the main menu. Not all plugins are skinner friendly.Wink
Yeah, i think i know what you're meaning ^^; I had some experiences like this with my first try.

Fatman_do Wrote:Along the way, if you want to post a mock-up image of what you are looking for, that will help. It can be a very crude sketch. Ideas are important now versus actual images.
You mean something like a preview?

MixMan's Carbon theme.

(I looked at doing that one, but figured mixman would get to before I did. He is fast at baning out themes. I spend to much time here and tweaking the .xml's)

Yes, but is doesn't have to look perfect. Like you did here is fine.

It will take me a while to get something together here. Probably sometime tomorrow.

ShiningDragon. I will do the actual tutorial in another thread so it doesn't get cluttered up, and I can edit it as needed. We can "Chat" back and forth by PM or this thread here.

Just click on my name and send a Private Message. I don't have access to chat software a work. My email address is public as well, but you may have to PM me to tell me to check it. (It is my junk mail account.)

Matt Foley mode: On

With an attitude like that mister, you will be like me! Living in a van, down by the river!

Matt Foley mode: off

Smile
(I wanted a good pic of that character as my avatar, but settled for Benny Hill)

YouTube Chris Farley skit of Matt Foley: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChB1a8SJg...rch=farley

Well I guess there are worse places to live, however I must admit I've never "met" Mr. Foley or seen his van.
Fatman I think you are doing great work "behind the scenes".Wink

If you didn't see it, I added a link to the comedy skit I am referring too in the above post.

Just teasing you.
