Here's my first attempt at fixing it:

Everything seems to work on my install of v0.22, but given that I'm new to this, I might have missed something. If so, let me know.

While I was at it, I also implemented sub's suggestion from earlier in this thread, so the skin now uses a different background for everything but the main menu.

I've just uploaded a new version of the skin including some changes made by tkgafs -- the biggest change is that the skin now uses task images.

The skin can be downloaded from the link in my previous post.
