Hi, I seem to be getting a problem with this now. Although it all worked at first, I now have no film information and no trailers. The listings are updating OK. I've attached my log if that's any help.

Thanks for any assistance!

Great plugin - really enjoy using it.

Is there any way I can keep the trailers rather than having them auto deleted?

Also, no trailers are being downloaded and no film info as Obsidian already found.

UK code 'wreode'

Cheers!

It all depends on what they are called and if the names match. Remember the plug-in downloads the files from Dave's Trailers, not any trailers linked to on the individual sources. Maybe in a future release I can look into fuzzy matching of the film titles, will see.

Aha... ok it's clear. And yes they are playing on the MVP. I have a tip you might want to build in the program. Whenever there is a trailer show the name of the movie with a star. Something like this: Shooter *

That way you can quickly see if there is a trailer when browsing the list.

Again it's a great program and I like it very much. Would like more trailers but that is optional. Thanks and speak to you again....

Added to the to-do list. although in the meantime you could just manually copy them out of the Trailers folder to a temp storage.

Will take a look during the week, I think easycinema.com may have changed their site.

When I look in the \InternationalCinemaListings\Trailers\ folder I have a file named .mov (yes that's right <nothing>.mov)

When I open the ".mov" file, it is indeed the trailer for the incredibles (yea I know old film, but they are showing it again around here!).

I've tried to rename the ".mov" file as "the_incredibles_m480.mov" (as per the log), and re-running the updater, but it just deletes the renamed file and re-downloads the file naming it ".mov" again....

Hope this helps!

Yeah, I saw that too, but I am wondering whether McBain has put that there as a test download to check that it is possible to download trailers when doing troubleshooting or somethng

Anyway, we'll wait to see what McBain comes back with...Smile

I installed the plugin for USA movies, it ran and downloaded movie listings and trailers into the default subdirectory.

When I open the plugin via GBPVR, it sees the theatre, but when I select it I only get NO FILMS FOUND @text2 error.

The plugin folder in my skin has NO information. So am I supposed to move the default folder into my skins folder?

Very confused.

Help.

I expect something changed on easycinema and it can't find the film title anymore. Prob an easy fix but just moved house and started a new job so can't give a timeline.

Same goes for depak's problem and the US source.

Quote:No matter what source I am choosing for the US, the theaters do not get saved. I can not keep any theaters in my list. I am using GBPVR 99.12 and the latest CinemaListing plugin. I could not find any answers to this in the forums. Do you have any ideas what could be causing this?
If the config app is causing problems you can add cinemas manually in the config.xml file.

What method are you using to add cinemas to the list? Maybe worth trying again and then zip and attach gbpvr/logs/config.exe.log
