Ok, probably way past your bedtime but I have a fix. Was a problem I couldn't catch on my "Dev" laptop, only when you have shows recorded. Having said that, I really need to spend time on fixing this. For us with Zap2it, our show descriptions really need there to be 3 lines instead of 2. This might need to be a skin mod selection so it doesn't waste real estate for you unfortunate ones that don't get show descriptions. Rolling out an update in the meantime.

One comment, when i select a recording and the recording detail window pops up, there is a huge space between the close button and the start of the program description.

I rumaged around and found skindetailspopup and changed loc="6,58" to loc="6,38"

[edit] ah i see the problem (and reason for it originally being 6,58) - the same xml is used when selecting a current show from the tv guide and it shows additional buttons (fine more and watch). ar5e. oh well.

I can't seem to configure anything with the skin plugin? I am using the newest version of the plugin 2.2 and newest version of gbpvr 1.08. I see the plugin but no settings. Am I missing the obvious?:confused:

Right now, the SkinPlugin does not yet work with the new UI. There is some discussion as how to approach this in the developers thread. You can manually copy the images from "gbpvr\skin\community\_CommonImages" to "gbpvr\skin2\community\_CommonImages" as a stop-gap fix until we get some technical issues ironed out. (You will also need to copy background.jpg to "gbpvr\skin\community\menu" from the _CommonImages folder.

I might have a bit of a dumb question. Yesterday I cleaned GBPVR off almost all it's plugins and installed just a few new ones like ICLP, Weather and Musiclibrary2. The plugins work with blue skin. Ok weather crashes on forecast but in general it works.

After that I installed communityskin and skinhelper because I had Plainjane and I would like to look at it if community skin fits me. I only have MVP's. GBPVR is installed on a W2k3 server somewhere in my house.

The default skin of community skin works but now most of the plugins crash on activation. Also I could not find (not in the GBPVR forum or Wiki) how to change the skin themes etc. In short how do I change the skin theme, buttons, etc. on a MVP or otherwise.

Can anyone point me in the good direction or post a short manual how to operate it. For now I deinstalled it and will try again later.

For the MVP, and only running new new UI, download the communitySkin 3.0 Beta. No theme changing is available for the new UI at this time, we are working on a fix.

If you are running any older plugins, you Need the CommunitySkin 2.x.x as well.
You will also need to download and install the skinplugin and the patch from the liked post above. Using the skinplugin, you can select custom images or a pre-composed theme. Browse the wiki page for the SKinplugin, it should give you more info.

Once again, however, running the new UI, theme changes do not work yet.
