Download this skin file and extract to the same place as before, should see the close button in all cases now.

kayak4ever Wrote:My newly created trailer directory is still empty. I guess that is likely the main reason I can't play the trailers!
It should be Trailers,with a capital 'T' (full path: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\Trailers)

Change the name of the folder then try a refresh. If the folder is still empty zip and attach the log file: C:/Program Files/devnz/gbpvr/Plugins/InternationalCinemaListings/InternationalCinemaListingsPlugIn2.exe.log

AACIR and AANEH are main line theatres and AAOJB is the IMAX theatre at the Museum of civilization.
I have set these cinema IDs up on my machine and will be looking into the cast and formatting issues later today.

This is not part of the beta testing because I am sure it is my installation skills. The trailers are in the correct directory and I can play them on my computer monitor.

I did install the quicktime alternative but I don't know how to make sure I have new codecs. I have attached my log.

Good news is that the close button displays at all times

OK that's cool. I've fixed the "Shrek in 11th Hour" bug and the formatting issues with the cast on zap2it.

What would be really helpful is for all the sources to be checked for formatting issues before I make a last beta build (will use an installer this time :p ), before v6 goes public.

No rush. No need to do the easycinema.com source as I've already checked that one.

These are the codes I am using so far. I may need help with "filmladder.nl" as I don't read Dutch so I was likely on the wrong page for cinemas (my cinema code doesn't work). I have someone at work who will help if no one else can. I tried two different city codes (my codes looked like "6&")

hoyts.ninemsn.com.au "6cit" from Perth
Evan Almighty and Die Hard4 had the same synopsis which described Die Hard
Stardust, Ratatouille and Superbad had the same synopsis which was suspiciously like the synopsis for Ratatouille
however, the cast of each was different.
As with the current version of zap2it listings, it would be easier to read if the times showed all the times for each day on a separate line.

hoytsnz.ninemsn.com.au "1lht" from Lower Hutt, Wellington
The only issue is that the times would be easier to read if each day was on a separate line.

cineman.ch "345" from Zurich
First problem is likely my computer which doesn't have a character set for accented letters. As a result, the "u" is Zurich, and other letters was shown as a box. Maybe someone with a better character set could check this out. Some movies had no details and one movie had no title (but the synopsis sounded like the Bourne Identity). There were lots of duplicates even though I only listed one code. I am wondering if this code represents many theatres (which I would know if I understood Deutsch)
In this case, the times are too spread out: each day can take about 6 lines(similar to Rialto and Skyline)

rialto.co.nz ""R04" from Christchurch
In this case, the times are spread out too much. The times are listed with each time on a separate line with the odd piece of information tabbed over to the right.
For each synopsis, there is a large space (almost a screenwidth wide) before the synoposis starts.
The same cast is listed for Hual Girls, Black Snake Moan
The same cast is listed for Infamous, Joe Strummer, Oil Crash... & Perfune: Story..."
Same cast (Micheal Moore) for Sicko and the Italo

cityline.com "14" UAMegabox. I don't know what currency the $ stands for, but for those of us still complaining about movie prices, the listed price for a movie in Hong Kong is $40- $55 depending on the day!
The only issue was the formatting of the times and it may be reflective that that the price is listed with the times.
Times are shown a: > following by 18 spaces followed by the full listing of times, such as "Wed. Sept. 19 12:40 p.m. $40.00 Wed Sept. 19 2:40 $55.00" etc. followed by a long dotted line ............................................ ............................

imdb.com 13446& 2 others. None of the codes I selected for US cities resulted in any listing of movies. Each theatre indicated "no films found" I tried two theatres in Seattle and one in Albany.

skycitycinemas.co.au "B03" (note that I could only find codes for skyline theatres). Generally good but the formatting for time was similar to the Rialto. This is a case of being able to delete some of the hard returns in the scraping process.

You had also asked about the ease of reading the new config panel and it is very easy to follow. I don't know what you could have done to be more explicit on the codes for filmladder.nl (other than add the "&" between the code and the word "city", but I really didn't get it the first 4-5 times I read it. I kept entering the number that replaces the "()" and consistently got an empty I have now entered the code "bio=310&city=44" and it works well. People who are not in city "10" will need to recognize that they should enter the code for their city but I think they can figure it out. As far as the formatting goes, filmladder.nl doesn't have a lot of info but what is there looks like it is well displayed, particularly if you read Dutch.

Are these all with Build 3?
