I got a Trendnet 425 for cheap as a backup and had to use it recently. Don't get one of those.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

The HP (High power) is pointless in my case, I have dd-wrt setting the signal strength right down so could have got away without the HP.

The open vpn on dd-wrt is absolutly great.

We went with a Netopia 3386 Enterprise router for sustained multi-gigabit file transfers.

I've had the worst luck lately with low end D-Link routers (non-N). I won't touch them now simply because of the lost time involved with replacing them.

As a networking novice, I love D-Link. All of their stuff works right out of the box. Instructions are clear and their website is well organized.

I had a terrible experience with Linksys a few years ago, they are now on the banned forever list with Symantic.

I have a Trendnet TEW-611BRP. It has QoS, so I can prioritize my packets. So I have my VoIP with the highest priority, then I have WebGBPVR stream as second.

Been working great for me for over 2 years. Too bad it's only a 802.11G... Sad
