Vista SP1 officially released

I've been running it for a day now and I've noticed a huge boost in speed when copying files b/w drives on the same system.

So, finally I'm knocking on wood...

and may be Martin is glad to read that: Wink

after installing SP1 ten days ago there was no problem with the MVPs remote control anymore. (And besides: suspend/resume works now reliable after also upgrading to the latest drivers for the audio card)

I've read that SP1 amongst other things replaces the TCP implementation with the one developed for Windows Server 2008. So maybe the problems with the remote I had almost every day were caused by faulty network components in the operating system.

Arnes thanks for the info. If your success, continues maybe make a post on the mvpcm forum in a week or so after the dust settles. I will be hopefully optimistic.
