Nope, should be transparent.

You will optionally add a rows attribute on the placement line, and there may be a few more properties/methods associated with the list. If no rows attribute is specified, it defaults to the number of captions supplied in the constructor.

Ok, here is the latest version of the WizTools. Alot of changes in the WizUiButtonList, so that should be tested thoroughly.

To create a scrollable button list, supply the rows attribute in the skin.xml on the placement line.

I've included WizUiHelperDemoPlugin in the zip file which has code that shows how to use the control.

The changes made are:
  • Enhanced WizUiButton list to be a scrollable list.
  • In skin.xml you may supply a rows attribute on the placement line to limit the number of viewable buttons in the list. If no row attribute is supplied, rows will default to number of captions supplied.
  • Added following methods to WizUiButtonList: setActiveButton(idx), setActiveButton(caption)
  • Added follwing property to WizUiButtonList: TopmostViewableIndex
I've also updated the help (.chm) file, so you might want to take a look there also.

I am still trying to figure out the best way to provide UI indicators so the plugins can hint at hidden pre and post buttons that are not visible.

NOTE: Please do not deploy this version to the general public yet, as I want to fully test it prior to release. I do NOT want to break other plugins if there are bugs in this version!

Wow that was quick!

I have tried it on my dev PC and its working great!

I am fixing a few bugs and I am hopefully holding off for a public release untill I have a thumbnail feature added. Which I am having some problems with so I may well start another thread asking for advice Big Grin

That DLL may be released. It on the wiki, and I've been using for several days with no problems.

I am hoping to hold off a few days as I would like to finish a snapshot feature off, if I hit too many brick walls I will release as a bug fix version, as I have fixed a few bugs so far excluding the menubutton one.
