GB-PVR records in the format your broadcaster transmits. You can set it up to do a post-processing format conversion (see 'post-processing' tab in config app).

Does the software that came with your card find any DVB-T channels? If not, then its unlikely GB-PVR will either. Probably due to lack of a decent DVB-T signal.

Did you remember to shut down the media center services? If not, then GB-PVR wouldnt have been able to use the device and the scan would find no channels.

You still need to stop the media center services that run in the background. (ehrecvr ehsched etc)

to my knowledge there is nothing running in the background. ie no icons on task bar active . is there any other way i should check this. just running rescan. some channels come up in the preview pane very quickly then freeze then no sound but during the scan its says 0 signal strength and 0 quality. it seems to be picking up stations but at the end it still says 0 channels found. not sure about (ehrecvr ehsched etc) things
