Okay, i took out the pch deal. I added two autostart servers.

Now config.exe crashes on me when i hit OK.

I was able to get Live TV working on the popcorn hour, but i can't add an extra tuner card or any directories because config keeps crashing.

any idea what makes it do this?

Also, how do I turn off live tv on the pch? I thought it was the power button, but that freezes it, do i need to hit stop, then the power button?

If config.exe is failing or the recording service is not starting, you have an error in your config.xml file. If you can't fix it compress it and upload it.

As mentioned in the survival guide "- cannot power down while media is playing" You must hit stop first.

Also post the config.exe.log file, or the text of the error message you're shown when you get this problem.

There is no error. It just locks up. Sometimes the info box about restarting the service pops up and also locks up and sometimes it doesn't make it up.

Are you on Vista? If so, try running the config app with 'run as administrator'.
