I been debating on buying a PCH as a client and this is looking very good. If this moves forward I think this will be an excellent replacement for my PC client.

I resent the channel change demo as an mkv file, the audio sync seemed bad with the mpeg file and this is more representative of how it plays.

Here is a bit longer demo 4:40 trying to show most things mvpmcx2 can do now on the PCH.
http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=EtqHLgY8vWw You will see - toggling OSD details on and off - channel changes through the quick EPG - channel change by number (look for 33 in the top) - channel changing by up/down - scheduling a recording via the full OSD EPG - full recording info OSD - fast selection of audio, without losing screen or keyboard - slide show while music plays - internet radio selection from Shoutcast online - Shoutcast data on screen and is screen saver I expect a release is still quite a bit away, this is hard coded to my system. If you need any help with this, I volunteer. That is un-freaking-believable. Hate to ask, but would resume be possible? What about comskip either auto-skipping or allowing us to hit play to skip? Good stuff. Roy

Amazing work Martin! The only thing I would miss a little is crop from the mono app, but that doesn't compare to all the stuff we would get with these improvements. Really fantastic! I can't wait to give this a try.

Fantastic Martin, For me, that will make the PCH everything it should be. I'm happy to volunteer for any donkey work or testing.

@rwalker777 the STB flavour of this is really sub's great job of implementing GBPVR functionality on the MediaMVP. This is one of the reasons there are still so many MVP fanboys. I gotta say that the OSD capabilities and responsiveness of the PCH make it a lot more useful as an STB. Resume is already coming for the PCH in the next firmware anyway, I'm not sure if sub is going to enhance it for GBPVR users or not.
@Chris, Martyn I'm still not sure when testing is going to begin but the first few releases are going to need some patience. I think there is a lot more to losing mono then crop I hope that sub and I can work out a way to give PCH users a choice when playback is started. Martin
