Hmmm, I think RC4 is very stable. No failed recordings for me so far. Yes, I'm using both MediaPortal (for DVB-C) and GBPVR (analog).

The most stable version of MP was something in early 2007... But, I do not want to go into a quality of coding discussion of some other software. This is the GBPVR forum

I disagree about MP, but I agree with your last remark . In my ideal world I wouldn't need MP because GBPVR would support Comon Interface for DVB-C.

One thing you'll probably notice is that this forum is much better than MP, people actually answer questions here. That's just great! Hope you'll enjoy your stay here.
