LOL, I change so many things that I make my family sick! My problems were networking. It seemed to be a firewall problem but as my son wouldn't allow his loving father to use it too long, I gave up. Smile
I download a good deal of British tv to my computer and play to my tv in the 'main' room thru my NMT. That's Sometimes, I stick it on a thumb drive and watch recorded files from it.
I've not used it with GBPVR more than 2 dozen times or so but it has worked rather well. Channel changing is understandably a little slow but recorded tv as well as files in the video directory and photos work very well. LiveTV looks almost as good as my digital cable on my 36" TV (old style Sad).
Lastly, I've ripped some of my wife's exercise dvd's and put them on the internal SATA drive and even she can turn things on use it though anything past that is lost on her. Actually, lots of things I read on the NMT forums are lost on me too.
I'll answer anything else you might want to know.

@pconstanza, if you are using PCH2 mode changing channels with LiveTV should not take longer than ~2 seconds. It is now faster than my digital STB.

@tuckster, I can't tell you that mpeg FF/RW are buttersmooth on the PCH with HD material, because they aren't, there just isn't the bandwidth, with SD it is pretty good. I have no idea how the xbox 360 compares as a media centre, but you would have to use the Microsoft media centre family to take advantage of it.

@dalabera, I would like to say I support either the EGreat M34a (for value) or the new high-priced C-200 (for features) but I can't The PCH A110, HDX 1080 and other EGreat models have there followers and should work equally now.

I have just bought an A110 (late starter as usual) and fully intend to run GBPVR through it when I have sorted out the TV card's signal strength. The fact I can do this (I hope) is due to your and Sub's hard work. To get all this for nothing is very much appreciated and before someone else mentions it, yes I will add something to the pot.
