I also like the second one. The name nPVR has grown on me and I think it will be a great replacement for GBPVR.

Following the GBPVR 'naming scheme', do you have a middle name sub? Big Grin

As usual I love Hairy's graphics but would leave that to you others to discuss!

My focus at the moment is on the wiki side of things.

from Hairy:

Quote:•Replace the current webpage and update the wiki with a new look.
•Based on those, we add a nPVR webpage and wiki - with a slightly different colour scheme to differentiated it.

Is there a need to change the look of the current GB-PVR wiki? I thought there was before 'N-PVR' was released. Is it worth putting any effort into this now? Sorry Hairy but how easily can we implement a 'new look' to the current wiki and is the payback worth it?

As for new wiki, well for those that read the documentation threads Wink I'm most interested in this and for me that is the way to go....

all the best

Completely respect that sub and in hindsight this thread is probably a bit premature. Given how long it takes me to get stuff done Big Grin and the rumblings about a new wiki, I thought I'd strike while the iron was hot Smile

As things naturally firm up, I'm happy to help out any way I can.

From my point of view, we'd probably be modifying a freely available theme for any new wiki - and if that's the case - once we worked that out, it would be easy enough to change a couple of graphics and colour values to enable us to also update the existing wiki skin and maintain some consistency.

So Hairy, how do you feel about designing the look for a 'beta' wiki for N-PVR Big Grin

You beat me to it! So YOU ARE interested Cool

OK so if you're up for it let's try this then, new wiki and adapted skin for N-PVR if plays back for G-PVR wiki then a bonus?

You're probably better waiting for something a little more polished. If you look closely, it's actually really rough. I mocked it up this morning and I tried out several different alterations to an existing font to try and create something more unique to the logo. So it's really messy.

Might be best to see how it all shakes out Smile

Yeah you and I can take this to PM and e-mail. It's probably best if we tinker with some of the available themes and see how the wind blows Smile
