Problem with right channelorder @ analog tv cards/XML/REG:Auto Tune isn`t solved yet.
Within LiveTV only MPEG Audio Decoder (MPEG1) produces sound, all other decoders (even PDVD 7.3, which is working under GB-PVR without any problem) don't makes any noise. Recordings don't playback any sound, in the previous version of nPVR it worked at least with the PDVD 7.3 decoders.

Which OS are you running?

Well I really don't know about Vista (I tested it for a week and throw it as far as I could) but I'm using the PDVD decoder(s) on W7 x64 and it works just fine with NPVR.

If you've got any problems, post them in the support forums. For the record, I've got stacks of decoders on my machine that works fine. Nothings really changed since the earlier betas that would cause this. The only decoder related change only effected H.264 video, and only if you have the Microsoft decoder selected.

Thanks, but I think it could go a little further to aid the initial install.

When you add a channel with this screen there is an entry for the EPG entry but nothing for the channel/frequency (other than a greyed out fixed channel for the STB option).
When you OK this, a seemingly random channel/frequency is displayed and it is not obvious that you have to double click this line and change the "number" to the real channel/frequency figure.

Digital is the future, but analogue is still around for a little time.

Sorry to go on about this, but compared to the rest of the interface, it is a bit messy.

Thanks Sub for the update!

From the Change Log:

<Colors>
<Color name="Test" color="Yellow"/>
<Color name="Test2" color="Forward:Black-Green"/>
</Colors>

Works good except for within the Guide.

- now creates metadata.xml ADS stream like GBPVR

Sorry if this is an obvious questions, but but does this do or better yet, can I have npvr automatically generate a metadata.xml file after each recording?

Not everywhere can use gradients. Some operations require solid colors.

It generates metadata.xml file for each recording, and embeds it in the recording in an alternate data stream called metadata.xml. ie, you can view it in notepad by opening "notepad c:\path\to\recording.ts:metadata.xml"

I have an automated process that demuxes the .ts stream, fixes the errors and remuxes them back into a .m2ts. I always loose my metadata. Any chance of dumping the .xml file seperately?

If not, no problem, I have a couple of workaround processes.

Doesn't seem to like solids either.

Thanks.

Tonite I had a successfully recorded show that does not show up in the Ready Recordings screen or What's New screen. The only other recorded show does show up as it should. I've had a pretty successful run so far so I guess this is a fluke.
