Yes 1.5.28

Still same thing I think. The fuzzy old Analog Antenna Screen. It just seems to revert to Tuner... :confused:

Code:
<tuning>
  <type>Analog</type>
  <locator>
    <channel>365</channel>
    <country>1</country>
    <input>cable</input>
    <source>[color=red][B]Tuner[/B][/color]</source>
    <fixed>2</fixed>
  </locator>
</tuning>

As an aside only when I first tried it (before I restarted the PC), NPVR hung when I pressed OK. I attach those logs as well but error seemed to be

Code:
Error listing for recording service interface: System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted

k.

I cant check HK right now, but can you see if it saves the svideo setting when you choose NZ and leaving the IR blaster set to blank?

Nope... odd thing is doesn't actually change the Country either - always 1. In your example you chose Antenna ... and the country shows up .... I chose cable.... and it doesn;t but that actually makes sense, cable is independent.

Code:
<tuning>
  <type>Analog</type>
  <locator>
    <channel>365</channel>
    <country>1</country>
    <input>cable</input>
    <source>Tuner</source>
    <fixed>2</fixed>
  </locator>
</tuning>
(btw Hong Kong should have a space between Hong and Kong, like South Africa, New Zealand, United Kingdom etc.)

The difference might be that there is an S-Video "External Tuner" option in GBPVR but not in NPVR? (as per pics in Post #1) http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...post383968

hmm, after the channels are imported, are you double clicking and changing the channel number or anything like that? (I wasnt doing this when I tried to replicate your problem)

Nope, not in settings, not at all in the tests above. All I did was test what it did when I went into the TVGuide which is where I got the <tuning> </tuning> log above.

Don't forget that when I ADD the channel rather than import it all works as planned. Not sure if the XML stuffs anything up. Attach it in any case ...

Thanks sub! 99.9% success, you're a champ ... almost there!! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Why 99.9% ... well ... at first I didn't think it worked because the channels never changed. So I checked the "Running blaster" line in the log and I realised the patch doesn't cause the Channel numbers in the XML to be the same as the Tuner Channel number, so I had to change them manually.

The pre-patch version seemed to have better logic in this regard and did make them come up as the correct channel. Other than that - awesome.

Code:
<tuning>
  <type>Analog</type>
  <locator>
    <channel>541</channel>
    <country>852</country>
    <input>cable</input>
    <source>SVideo</source>
    <fixed>2</fixed>
  </locator>
</tuning>

sub .. not sure if you saw, so just a bump to say it worked WELL w.e.o the channel numbers were not imported so have to change manually. If you get time to squeeze that logic into the next update, along with or as part of this patch, great!

I did read your reply, and hoped to get to it, but I'm bit snowed under at the moment.
