hehe, whats wrong with plants (yea I know)... Big Grin
yes the aspect ratio is correct.
I will try and tweak the area instead of the just the image.

Thanks for the help! Quick as usual.

I have now reached music. Big Grin
I tried to use hasMetaData as condition in ListSelectionMetaData but that does not work in music, so I use "!@isFolder" instead and that works OK, but I get "@artist" in the skin when I have m3u files in the folder. Any way to supress this?

I know I can use artist, track and album from id3 tags but can I use the saved cover image from id3 tags? I've noticed that most of my music folders have either images saved as files (seldom named "folder.jpg") or directly in the id3v2tag for covers.
Well I know the problems with metadata, but I can ask. Wink

And on my wishlist is that preview shows folder.jpg - if it exist, else the first .jpg or .png that is found.

Thanks for reminding me as this area was one I put to one side meaning to come back to some time & then forgot about.

I have used visible="@isItem" but for tracks that have no id3 info it displays the words "@artist" & "@album".........."@genre" & "@track" seem to work as expected by displaying nothing for genre & 0/0 for track.

I stumbled upon a little oddity:

I have a folder with two songs, mp3s. Both have embedded images in them and there is one image called folder.jpg - the same one as in song one.
In the Music library I show @previewimage and when I play song two, folder.jpg is shown but if I open the playlist, @previewimage results in the (as I see it) correct image. The one embedded with the file.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Its a known issue. Hopefully I'll fix in a future release though.

The preview image logic shared by video/music/picture library follows a set of rules looking for a image file on disk. It doesnt know about the special case that can happen for music library that some files can have artwork embedded within the actual file.

The playlist popup can only show artwork embedded with audio files.
