Sadly not available on the cheaper versions of W7 as I have found to my cost for other tweaks.

Bummer, on longer playing it's no different.

Just curious, what audio decoders have you tried?

ffdshow (tried both stand alone install and the one that comes with SAF) - I use spdif out and most channels are mpeg audio but a few are AC3 (so use passthrough). I need ffdshow for HD DD/DTS for bluray playback but am happy to try anything else for live TV. I used to use AC3Filter, but it wont let me select that for mpeg audio (which I'm sue I used to be able to).

Mmmm, I'v tried ffdshow in different versions and configurations, but never had any luck with it. I now use CyberLink Audio Decoder (from Terratec) which works good here for MPEG1 audio.

Having the full EPG available while watching TV is huge. This has been the one thing upsetting my wife since I moved to NPVR. Now she's happy and as they say "happy wife... happy life".

is it lip syncing that you are having an issue with or something different?

1.5.31 fixed some SAF compatibility, so i added nPVR support to latest SAF5 build. Now all local samples i have play fine including DVDs.
Did you try it already?
What exactly problem do you have?
