I have seen this issue.....and video'd it. Actually, I was researching the audio glitching issue at the time but happened to catch the ch up/dn problem.

See the video below, I'm on channel 6 and when I press the up (or down) button channel 14 appears.

Must stress though that it doesn't always happen. The above was from last night, and this morning I tried it again using the exact same channel and it was fine.

Note:- I had completely re-jigged all channels in the Bulk Map shortly before I noticed the problem, however, I do think the problem was there BEFORE I started playing with it.

Ian.

Hi all,

One other thing, the OSD that appears when you select UP/DN should time out (say 5 secs) if you don't in fact use it, i.e. if you don't press OK. At the moment if you decide to stick with the channel you are on then you have to re-select it otherwise it stays on-screen forever.

Ian.

Hah, this annoys me too. I always just figured it was by design, but now that I think about it, I guess it actually doesn't make sense for it to stay forever, or until hitting esc.

I have found that this channel changing issue seems to come up after viewing a channel from the TV guide I think.

I'm out of the country at the moment, but can look into it when I'm back.

I hadn't watched live TV for about a week now, but I did tonight and I noticed right away that my channels are still way off. I also haven't made any changes to anything. Any word on a fix for this?

Anyone notice also that channel changes using channel up/down don't go in order of the assigned channel numbers? I think on my setup they go in the order of the physical frequencies, which is probably another way of saying they go in the order they appear in the channel list.

Looks like that fixed it. Just before seeing your post I realized that this only happened when my system was recording on one of it's analog devices, so it was easy to test.

Thanks! That was an annoying one Smile
