I lookied into what is causing

and it is the PluginHelperFactory.GetInstance().PlayAudioFiles call. Since it is playing music, I assume it is failing somewhere before the Notifies go out. I'll look into all my own Notify() handling code to see if it local to me since you and Jaggy aren't seeing this.

I can confirm that the main problem is in MB4 itself, it gets PLAYING_AUDIO during PluginHelperFactory.GetInstance().PlayAudioFiles that I hadn't planned on in ML3 or MB4. I guess that is why I haven't ever been paid for C# coding.

The only problem that is remaining is the last problem where cover art disappears but the "Now Playing" text still shows until the first move. That should be in both logs.

I'm still unclear as to why Jaggy and I don't see the problem unless... are you using a dev version of MB4?

I am, but it doesn't seem related, because "Now Playing" is from NextPVR. I've had that original problem for over a year anyway, it just was worse in this new version, it didn't correct on a move.

Well I certainly thank you for the views you made for me, I know you and Alex like more information then I do. As part of my beta I am adding artist/genre fanart and SSPlus does seem bare when it turns on but I didn't want ask you to spend time on it because the fanart sites that I download the artist info from (htbackdrops, fanart.tv) don't really support Alex and your music styles.

If you have fanart and can make it available to SSPlus, we will certainly want to show it (even if I do have to find my own fanart for James Taylor)

And I already have fanart for 98.999999999% of my artists.... (the compilations are a different story prob about 10.1111111% for them) as long as it could pick then off the HDD & not have to download them to display them.

The trouble with fanart is usually finding the HD quality and ratio required for full screen backgrounds. Do we really want HD James Taylor without hair reminding us how old we are?
