Brilliant, I can feel the difference straight after upgrading.

Is there and option to adjust the logging level? To say zero. Loging every key stroke isn't nessasairy in normal usage.

Edit, I had to truncate the exert bellow to get it to post, and that's just a snapshot from a few seconds of browsing the tv guide.

Set <ExtendedLogging>false</ExtendedLogging> in the <General> section of config.xml. It'll get rid of these messages about key presses.

Just an oversight. I dont use manual recordings so forgot to add it there, and none of the testers noticed it either. I'll add it for the next release.

I get the 'NextPVR is recording' message when trying to restart a client PC which seems like it might not be intentional? Also, what is used to launch NPVR with the "Green MCE Button"? Is it the NRecord service (I usually have this disabled on my clients)?

Hmm, I've fairly that was fixed during testing a week or so ago. I'll have to recheck it.

The NTray.exe utility launches it.

oops, sorry sub, I noticed that still happening when I shut down my PC last night after installing the 2.5.5 release candidate, but I was too tired to hit "cancel" and report it, then I forgot by morning. In fact it stopped my PC from shutting down even though the NPVR server wasn't even recording.
