You need to include NRecord files too. Also you should check to see that your installed the required DirectX runtime.

Maybe you should also try just running

channelchanger 10

in a command prompt so we can see if it's working. (or just use the usbuirtsend.exe - it will give you the command line arguments)

I tried running channelchanger from a dos prompt, and all it says is "unable to open specified device definition file. Exiting...

USBUIRTSend.exe is looking for <device-definition> and <channel number> . Channel number is obvious, but what is the device-definition?

right. I remember when I sent those file through to work - work firewall didn't like .DAT in the zip file

So I renamed it in the zip - can you try renaming the device.txt to device.dat and see what happens in the dosbox?

Ok, I renamed the .txt to .dat and ran it in DOS. I get a windows error saying "USBUIRTSend.exe has stopped working etc etc...

Still not getting the UIRT to work. I've had some people send me some new files, but I can't get them to work, or I just don't know what I'm doing. Not sure how to proceed from here.

Are you having trouble from the command line or in NextPVR? You logs show you using HaupBlast.exe

I use Haupblast for BeyondTV, but I set NextPVR to use channelchanger. Not sure why it's calling Haupblast. Maybe I have to unload Haupblast?
