Yes the general metadata in media\shows is from the internet, since that is for the folder level, but the nfo file should be NextPVR info. It was pretty easy to find since it is on page one of this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...abLite-1-2

Do you mean you are using this http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post447167 and it doesn't create .nfo files?

It creates NFO files 2 of them
But plex doesnt use them for the description
Since the name has been changed plex can now find its own description
From what i have read i thought plex looked for ext files(feel free to correct me i really have no idea how it all works)
So when loaded in plex it has a different description ( plex seems to look on the net for itself)

No for plex to you you need thed to be named properly - ie Show S0xExx - Epiode Title - and by default it looks in tvdb

There is an XBMC NFO Agent you'd need for reading from nfo files.

Also I'd be curious how you system does on it's media scan. I get appcrashes on tme Plex Media Scanner during thumbnail or media analysis. I've raised it with Plex but never had it updated so far.

plex media scanner.exe -c<number of the section> -s -e
will do a deep scan. You can get teh sections by running plex media scanner -l

Are you dvb-s or dvb-t based?

Code:

.mode columns
.output "iglout.bat"
select '"C:\Program Files (x86)\nPVR\imageGrabLite" --nfo --zap2it --oid ', oid
from scheduled_recording
where status = 2
and filename not like '%.S%';

OK I opened notepad copied and saved it as iglall.sql
but how do i run it ?

Store that as iglall.sql (edit as necessary )and then run
sqlite3 npvr.db3 < igall.sql (what the hell does this bit mean)

What exactly does this mean im missing something i have no idea how to use sql files?

yes i am thick Smile

Right, plex will use the online information if you have decided to rename them to plex standards. I thought you were just going to use the nfo option, not the rename.
