steeb Wrote:My favourite ad of all time ever was a really old BT ad with Quasimodo at the top of the Notre Dame tower holding his hands over his ears and complaining about the bells (the phone ringing)

That reminds me of my two favourite punchlines

- I don't know his name but his face rings a bell
- He's a dead ringer for his brother

Martin. you may not know Marty Feldman

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Feldman

but am SURE he had a gag about faces ringing a bell!

Of course I google it now and nothing comes up. I am really getting old when I can't even put entries into wikipedia!

(oooh oohh if anyone is really reading this thread and geeky sci-fi stuff went into some secret offices in Shepperton today and saw some awesome graphics for something to do with some (Guardians on a Quest for some kind of Galaxy or something!))

cheers

If only Big Grin

Oooh I love it when Wilder sticks that scalpel in his leg! Makes me wince the whole film through..... Twitchy, yes, awkward yes, stupid like me, yes. But still funny!

Fun thread, I wish I could dig out the old BT advert, did everything Brian said!

cheers all
