Wouldn't make much sense if I had to keep my .ts or .xml around, but you never know. mvallevand Wrote:It's certainly possible in North America using the zap2it id. if you want to zip up your MCE ehome folder I think C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\eHome\ I might be able to automate it otherwise I could give you a sqlite table and you could delete the rows you want record. Whichever is easier for you. (Or neither, if it's a pain at all - I don't want you to have to do my work for me!). Whatever the case, here's a link to a .zip containing my eHome directory. I deleted a few of the folders (keeping the database intact) to keep the file size down - so hopefully whatever file you might need is in there. And seriously, again, thanks for the help!

Just proves what I have said before, npvr has the best support forum in the inner solar system

Let me know if you need a different one. 7zip is fine, but I guess the metadata is just in the wtv metadata not the db. When you used mcebuddy did you also rename the files you have? If so I could use that like a database if you can direct the list to a file ie dir /s > simpsons.txt Martin

No I can't be specific it really is supposed to be accessed via an api but I don't use MCE The recordings.xml file would allow me to create recurring recordings but I haven't found much else I can use. metadata is the best bet.

Zeb Wrote:Third sentence of Wiki page says "you need to manually import the recordings XML file created by vidImport." Note that it says the XML file that vidImport creates not each individual one - that was until a few months back the option was not on the command line for npvr, it is now and I believe vidImport will kick off the import as well. As to re-recording one of the shows, since vid import gets its info from tvdb or tvrage, I don't believe the XML will have the north american ID so it may re-record so Martin's option may be one to look at. If the your xml data is formed similar to NPVR's I could add something to read it and use that data including the unique ID.

Again, thanks so much for your help. You've seriously gone so much further than necessary. |
