Forgot to mention: I don't know what exactly caused it, but on androidbox now when exiting xmbc I don't get the "exit" (last button on screen) anymore.

WKleeven Wrote:First on windows laptop it does seem to make a difference, however I now see a different problem: when in recordings menu after entering "a gifted man" and seeing 1 recording, then pressing "escape" going back to the overview, then entering "buried" I see the 1 recording of "a gifted man" again.

I don't now what that means, it sounds like a UI issue, you might just be seeing stale art in NextPVR in web client mode.

Quote:Then in androidbox (for the first time ever) I used xbmcbackup. So I uninstalled x-newa and installed it again (with the copy cover art button pressed) and it works.
And I don't have the above problem (as on windows laptop).

I suspect the xbmc backup messed something up.

Sounds like an unrelated issue to me. In default Confluence exit is only on the power button on Android for my machines.

Do you want me to be elaborate or upload logs or something? If so, I can do this tomorrow about the same time.

Thanks for the "copy cover art" "fix".

It sounds like you are running into one of the web client latency issues, try hitting the left/right key to see if that refreshes ok.

As for the fix, it might just be an install issue with the bad restore I can't duplicate it here with it turned off but I will keep trying.

I only did a restore/backup on the androidbox, but the problem also happened on the windows laptop on which I only updated but did not do a backup/restore. And on the androidbox this seemed to fix that problem.

Remember this happens only on the windows laptop! This one is more complicated than I thought. The left/right redidn't solve the problem, but:
when using the arrow keys on the keyboard everything is normal (as on the androidbox), but when I control everything with the mouse the problem is back AND "play" doesn't work!
Also when using the arrow keys or mouse, things seem to be slower to respond.
And I got 2 freezes when doing left/right a few times in a row.

I tried 2.4.3 and same issues there.

On windows laptop in x-newa 2.4.3 webclient (in xbmc), using mouse (and escape to go back to previous menu) tried to "play" a recording 7x. Nothing happens. Logs attached.

Again but now I first stopped the nextpvr service and deleted old logs and started nextpvr service again first.

Wim I haven't looked into your web client problems, because a remote mouse and touch commands aren't supported by NextPVR I enabled a few things but that is about it. Was there something else to look at?

Ok sorry, I didn't know that (x-newa's webclient in xbmc with mouse) wasn't supported. I didn't use it myself, just wanted to be of help to you. That's why I posted the logs.
And so you must be wright with the problem on the androidbox being caused by the import of the settings. Problem solved.

Thanks.
