Attached is the log file and Timing.Info. When trying to skip past 2:00 in NextPVR on my PC, the player froze for a while and then stopped and went back to the Recordings list. There are a number of these entries in the log: "GetDuration returning 3838".

Hmm DirectShow seems to be reading EOF at about 20 minutes into the file as you wrote.

I wonder how this could happen? Maybe this is why I get an error when trying to open it in tsmuxer to remux? I was able to remux in ffmpeg but it didn't seem to fix anything.

I'm still inclined to think it's an HDHomeRun issue first identified by ccihon and confirmed by whurlston in the spring of 2013: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post457164
There have been a number of subsequent posts. Do you actually use Media Center for recording? I'm fairly confident that future NextPVR recordings will be issue-free if Other: ATSC/QAM is selected, but I don't recall any discussion of whether Media Center can work with that setting.

Without the file I can't really help. If you have the tools to get the bytes based on the 20 minute mark in Timing.Info and get 5 minutes that would likely do it. I'd just use dd but there must be easier tools for Windows. If you just keep cutting pieces of the file in half you can get from minutes 15 to 22.5 Martin

I'm hoping Zeb's recommendation will work for me.

I wasn't try to fix that file, just see the characteristics that make it go bad but ok. If you remux to mpeg-ps does it work?

What's the file extension for mpeg-ps? If you really are interested in looking at the file, I can upload it to my OneDrive (it will just take a while and I wasn't sure if anyone really wanted to see it).
