I never asked but should have..... you did enable the web interface from within the settings area in the NPVR app..correct?

I saw in an earlier post you tried to uninstall .NET which doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Have you tried the Microsoft .NET repair tool? Try it and then do the full clean out of web and the .NET temp folders with the recording service stopped.

Will do. I didn't even know there was a Microsoft .NET repair tool, but I'll find it!

It'll be a few hours before I can get to this...kids, dinner, bed time for them and all...

I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, still no go.

I:
- stopped NPVR Recording Service
- ran the .NET repair tool
- deleted the web folder
- redownloaded NEWA 2.15
- extracted it to C:\Users\Public\NPVR
- deleted the C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\Temporary ASP.NET Files\root\0a635572 folder and everything under it
- emptied my trash bin
- rebooted
- made sure the NPVR Recording Service was running
- double checked the Firewall entries
and still got the "This webpage is not available" message.
And no new web.log file.
