btw, if anyone is using Alibert's TV Listings/TV Recordings plugin, then in order to get the nice little icons on the new main menu, you just need to
copy C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Skin\Default\Menu\icons\TV Guide.png to TV Listings.png and Recordings.png to TV Recordings.png

Sub,

Are these two bullet points the beginning of the smart recording logic I suggested?

- added new 'Look for alternate airings on unresolved conflict' on Settings->Recordings. Enabled by default.

- 'Find All' on a conflict (which has unique id), will now filter the list of airings to only those matching the unique id (ie, showing other airings of that exact show).

Yes, for the first one. The second was requested by one of the other users.

You are my hero sir. Fantastic work. Will give it a once over later tonight.

I'm assuming at this point that it's still a manual process once a conflict is detected, or am I reading it wrong?

Windows 7
Ceton InfiniTV 6 ETH
Comcast CableCard

ERROR: Unable to find capture device

I upgraded to 3.5.7.
I stopped and disabled the SageDCT service
I stopped and disabled the NPVR Recording service
I disabled all 6 of the network recorders in devices
I ran device setup on each of the 6 Ceton Tuners (all channels appeared)

When I launch NextPVR, I can see my populated EPG but when I select a channel to watch I get "Unable to find capture device"

If you post the question in the 'Support' sub forum, I'm happy to help you through it. I don't want to clag up this post with support stuff.

No, it's automatic. I posted a detailed explanation of it for you last week at the end of your original thread about it: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post492068

I downloaded NPVRSetup 3.5.7 but can't get the "-now" parameter of NScriptHelper.exe to work.

I then checked and NScriptHelper.exe has a file date of 10/29/14 5:06PM while other files like NRecord.exe are dated 8/28/15 7:57PM. Did NScriptHelper.exe miss the update?
