I hate to post in such an old thread, but I am having this same issue. Is there a beta or any ETA when the next release will be?

I'm not sure when the release will be. Life has been getting in the way recently. Hopefully near future.

Yep, all is good, just lots of things been keeping me busy. I have been managing to make some forward progress, and I'm most of the way to the next release, just need to find time to finish it off.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am still seeing channel freezes on clients with 377. Details and logs will be posted later today.

OK, logs attached. I setup a test server/client environment. Several channel change freezes occurred in the sample - one switching to ch670 HD @12:12pm local time and one switching to ch3 SD @12:14pm.

Note these freezes occur on at least 4 different clients and two servers all running 377.

thanks for the help all. I had the freeze issue and changed the video decoders. I am not as well versed as any of the other users. I just wanted to get away from Media Center. Just a heads up. I was using win 7 and Npvr without problems. then the "get win 10" nag started. went to win 10 and everything went awry. went back to 7 and fixed the final freeze issue. thanks to all for the fix.

Sub,

I am still having channel change freezes on clients, although there are no such freezes on a stand-alone system. I have compared the logs when channel change is successful and logs when npvr client freezes and there is a difference between the two. I have attached a log of the client with embedded notations showing the difference in log entries between a successful change and a freeze. In the log, there a several successful channel changes, followed by (the last entry) a failed channel change:

The log differences are right after the following entries-

StartLiveTV@done
GetEventCode() returned: 0x000e

In one case (success) it identifies the audio renderer, but in the failed case it does not.

Does this provide any insight as to why the freezes are occurring?

Thanks
