Sure. I will try another recording tonight and upload it to dropbox. What is the minimum recording length you would like?

At least a minute long would be good.

I have uploaded a short recording to dropbox. Here is the link : https://www.dropbox.com/s/gxr2ay304tvmpd...10.ts?dl=0

What is a bit weird is that clicking on the link and asking DropBox to play it back it works fine (correct speed and with audio). Windows Media Player on my local machine plays it back at correct speed but without audio and NextPVR plays it back at faster than 100% speed with no audio.....

Yes, it works well on recording

Alwyas issues in live tv (but not live tv buffer files)

Create a c:\temp directory, and set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NPVR\ LogReaderAutomap=1 (DWORD), then try watching a channel of live tv, then zip and post the logs and the c:\temp\reader-automap.log

Too much complicated, is there a way to avoid completely to record buffer files and others recording?

No the temporary file is required for live tv. There is no buffering of other recordings they are written directly to the recording file.

ok thx but i think there is some issue with those files because many times when I open the sw, my folder is not empty and i find old buffer tv files from other old days.

True sometimes they do not get deleted properly. Some people delete them manually I suggest doing it in one of the EPG update scripts.

If files do get left behind, the recording service will usually get rid of them next time the recording service is restarted (like machine rebooted etc)

That said, the next build fixes a couple of reasons why files can get left behind in the first place.
