4.05 Skipping Issues on Recordings

Wow, that skips really nice for you.

I'm all for trying to get some extra logging. It's been pretty consistent to play the file, wait until the 2 second mark and then do a long forward skip. If that doesn't work, I will exit out of NPVR, delete the log file and try again.

Do you already have any registry settings in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NPVR

Nope. I don't have a WOW6432Node.

I have a DataDirectory and a InstallDirectory.

Ok, that's good. (was curious if you had any extra registry settings hanging around from earlier tests)

Create a c:\temp directory, and add LogDemux=1 (DWORD) in that registry key, then reproduce the problem and post you npvr.log and c:\temp\demux.txt

It did it on the first skip. I left it playing until the audio caught up to the video. If you need more info/testing, I can give it another try in about 14 hours or so. Oh, and this is playing without the timing info file.

Is odd for an older recording. Also no timing.info on that share?

The video went into fast motion and then into slow motion while the audio played normally. I clicked skip forward at about the 2 second mark.
