When I got home I discovered that the necessary log file had already been purged.
I'll have to set up a remote scenario again to reproduce the error.

I've just taken another good look at the logs, and the code, but the cause still isn't clear to me.
Can you capture another log with this patch? It adds a bit more logging are the problem area.
Restart the recording service before trying to capture the log, so the logs are cleared out, and try to catch it with a single live tv channel viewing if you can, like your last logs. (so I don't have to try ignoring log noise from other stuff going on)
