Yeah, that looks pretty annoying - particularly given it is so close to being fully working. Unfortunately the cause isn't immediately clear from the file.

If you try stopping the recording service, and instead run "nrecord.exe RUN" from the command line, does it make any difference? Also, when running this way, you'll see the MDAPI tray icon extra, which might give you a bit more insight into any errors etc. If that doesn't help, you might need to think about my suggesting of temporarily enabling remote access to the card server so I can try from here. (if you want to go down that path, PM me and we'll discuss offline)

Looking at the code, I've got an idea what the problem might be, if you're willing to try a patch.

I can, but I have to admit I am running 3.9.2 as I still can't get the skipping working in newer versions. Currently running the encrypted channels via Mediaportal into a folder for nPvr playback (just using their EPG and recording service with 94% signal and perfect playback so hardware is fine)
Would prefer to only use nPvr as it is slick and simple.

Here is a slightly different NPVRTSMon.ax that changes the strategy used to write decrypted data to disk. Probably best to test it with a recording, and see if the recording plays back any better.

Sorry Sub but that file breaks all my tuners from working, both sat and DVB-T. Nothing in logs. Can't record or play live with any tuner.

Did you try on 4.2.2 or the older version?

OK, after a few hours of testing. NPvr 4.2.2 is broken for DVB-S with Acamd as per a previous thread, 4.2.1 is working.
The new patch breaks it again and no video plays. So sorry but can't even get the new patch to play or record with Acamd.
4.2.1 does the random glitches still. They do happen after a key is read. Problem is it happens on about 1 in 6 recording, not all the time...totally random as you can stop and start a channel and it will be fine.

I can confirm that 4.2.2 is broken for Acamd decrypting, haven't got around to test anything yes since my testrig is down...
