Recordings ending early

How big was your file for taken 3? I can see i was it was attempting to record this from "2019-02-11 00:59:02" until "2019-02-11 03:32:00", though it looked like your IPTV provider had some issue around "2019-02-11 02:31:58" and stopped delivering any data (and all requests to their server were just timing out)

Ok folks i uninstalled nextpvr and did a new install, but still same issues i tried to record an ice hockey game last night to see if it would work, program was 3 hrs ling but nextpvr only recorded about half of it

I also used emby and progdvb to see if these had similar issues but both recorded the full program.

can someone please help

First it is never advisable to record during the EPG update. That being said it looks like NextPVR was receiving data the whole time but you didn't attempt to play it in NextPVR. How did you determine it was short?

because it only recorded half the match, also what do you mean i didnt attemptvto play it? i was only using nextpvr to record

it recorded 1 hr 38 mins, the program was 3 hrs in length

does nextpvr try to reconnect? i know emby and progdvb do

yes mate i have played it, it only plays 1 hr 38 mins, thats what im trying to tell you

cheers, when u play it through nextpvr it shows it lasts 3 hrs but at 1hr38 it stops, when i go to the actual media folder were it is stored and play with vlc or media player it only loads the 1hr 38m
