I'm thinking there is a bug on linux variants when a () in the filename.

Yes the same thing I see here NextPVR non-Windows doesn't see the png with the parentheses, even in UI client. I have been trying to convince sub that those ugly SD names shouldn't be used anyway.

Just rename one of your stations to have a ( and it will fail on Linux.

Ok here it is I did rename all channel hoping that would help butt that was no go Martin

I just tried mine again and it did work, so possibly there was something wrong with SD last night.

Before I look into it, it worked? Downloaded the icons and they show up in the web app?

I just checked by renaming a channel to 'CFMTDT2 (CFMT-DT2)' and the icon to 'CFMTDT2 (CFMT-DT2).png' and it did successfully loaded and displayed the icon.
