Search out BurntToastNotification and you might have better luck. I can kick this off from my hidden task.

I seem to have an issue with postprocessing and the file move I do in the .bat file.
Getting this error: "The specified server cannot perform the requested operation."
If I do the move in a CMD windows all is fine. I assume it is some type of file protection issue within the script.
Any ideas?

Thanks
Steve

The commandline used was:

Does this have too many "\" in it?

This could mean V: is not available to the system process.  You could try running the service as a user.  V:/\ is also weird.

Hi Martin, yes running the service as a user fixed the file move issues.

Thanks

I would love to see how this bat file looks like now...automatically moving recordings elsewhere is very useful, can you possibly share it? Tht would help resolve my wish....
And does Nextpvr automatically recognize the new location of the file after the move?

NPVR doesn't keep tract of where the file get moved to.
I think under GBPVR someone wrote a much better script that moved files and updates the database.
But that was beyond something I couldn't understand or maintain.
The only reason I did it this way, is if the network or NAS has issues, the NPVR will record locally, and I can move them later.
