HD-PVR adding channels

I've made a change for the next build to support the channel number being carried in the channel id.

Any news as to when this new release bay be cut? Waiting to re-add all my channels back in.

I know this is an old thread but I see no closure regarding HDPVR2 channels.

Does the tvguide.xml work for importing channels? Can you post what have for the extra device? I'll need to change it for a PC installation.

Sorry an extra file won't work for a Windows HDPVR because it only uses XMLTV or Schedules Direct for mapping.

You should be able to import from an xmltv file. What issue are you having?

The issue as I see it would be creating a file with a generator that NextPVR understands so that a user can define static internal channel that is needed for blasting and an addition name field.

Would a one line entry with just a number use that as both a channel number and name (which could be edited)?

The two scenarios shown in this thread should work now. ie a display-name with just a number, or an channel id that is a number.
