using xteve NextPVR errors

Maybe it is worth writing something in the General Discussion forum explaining why someone would want to go through the trouble of running another server fulltime and doing all that configuration when NextPVR brings in the m3u's and does xmltv mapping too.

I do like it for m3u vetting, filtering and editing but I'd prefer to export a file that didn't need the server or the 302 redirects, would that be possible?

You have a good point. I had no idea that in NextPVR you can add MULTIPLE EPG sources, disable, enable channels, assign channel 1 to EPGsource1 and channel 2 to EPGSource2.

The filter that xteve has seems to be the one feature that NPVR is missing. I can import a m3u with 7000 channels and in a few minutes trim it down to 100.

If a solution is found, I'd like to keep using xteve because of the work I've put into it

Just about everyone doing IPTV channels needs to delete a pile of channels they'll never used. It's pretty easy to do this on the Settings->Channels screen, using the text box at the top right of screen for filtering. ie, want to get rid of all the Brazilian channels which start with "BR:", just type "BR:" in that text box, tick the checkbox at the top of the column (to select all the visible channels), then hit the 'delete' key on your keyboard. Do this a few times and you can quickly whittle it down to the channels you're actually interested in.

I'll post the updated build in the next day or to. This version works with xteve.

Xteve is actually a meant for using IPTV in Plex, but its nice for combining and filtering multiple playlists and xmltv sources and mapping everything.  Then you can use it's playlist/xmltv on any of your IPTV applications.
