I've been using an open source video editor called Movavi for the past year, and it's been really effective. It offers a wide range of settings like color correction, audio editing, and special effects, which I find super helpful. Just thought I'd share since it's been a great replacement for more expensive software."
Tks, I might look at it some time in the future. I am currently using Nero Video. I bought the 2018 version from someone at Ebay, because I didn't want to pay yearly, and it only cost $15. I've worked around all the bugs so that it is well behaved, but only with .mpg files. So I have to first convert them all to mpg using Aiseesoft Free Video Converter, then the editing in Nero is fast and the video quality comes out really good. I can burn straight mp4, but only if I don't have to edit.
