No problem but note that means I won't be supporting this issue any further.

Apologies, I meant that disabling the other unconnected tuners also didn't work.

The logs after this morning's failed record are attached.

Thanks sub is going to have to look to see why DeviceHostLinux abruptly died, this is different from your other errors, the error reported is definitely a catchall. You might see if there is additional information in the journalctl file.

And while he's looking, perhaps he could have a look at the issue I reported a few months ago in the thread that's referred to in first post in this thread. It's still there.

Anyway, not meaning to be a hijacker but I'd really appreciate it if it could be fixed.

journalctl doesn't seem to have anything further in it.

The program was on at 8:30am and at 1pm. No indication of any issues unless I'm looking at the wrong service (nextpvr-server)

The error isn't in nrecording it is DeviceHostLinux which got stuck in this set of logs. Why are you stopping NextPVR so often?

I usually turn the computer off if there's nothing being recorded or watched. Most times I record stuff on Sat/Sun, sometimes Mon so it's just using power if no one is interacting with it.

This has happened again with a different program: Joanna Lumley's Silk Road

The only similarity I can see between the two programs is that they both have -'s S- in the titles. Other Love Nature:{title} recordings without the 's S in them seem to have recorded properly as has Joanna Lumley's India

It's likely to just be a coincidence but maybe not.

Does the file get created on disk? If it was anything to do with the apostrophe, I'd expect the file would never get created. If it gets created, it'll be something else happening later.
