Maybe try running filtercheck.exe, and post the filtercheck.log it creates.

I don't think this is a hardware H264 encoder device, like the rest of the HDPVR family. I think this is just a glorified webcam.

I thought you were referring to this similarly-named device, https://www.hauppauge.com/pages/products...pvr60.html, which should work.

Instead, I think you're using something else, which is a simpler webcam style device.

Yeah sorry, that device isn't going to work. It's webcam style device, without crossbar and video encoder etc. It'd require encoding in software, and NextPVR doesn't support that. It expects the stream to have already have been encoding by the device.

It might work as an extra following this thread https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?tid=61774 one of the things to try is

ffmpeg -f dshow -list_options true -i video="USB Video"

Edit you won't have to worry about transcoding video so it could end up being a nice device.

Yep, getting it working as an Extra is his only real option for this device. It should be quite doable that way, but will obviously require a bit of manual setup work on his part.
