I think he's away on holiday for the last week, so not about as much.

It's probably something like creating an extras-hdpvr.xml file with:

Code:
<extras>

  <channel name="{channel-name}">
    <command>cat</command>
    <args>/dev/video0</args>
  </channel>

</extras>

Save this in the same directory as your config.xml file, then restart the server and you should see the device on your Settings->Devices screen.

Logs need to be zipped.

Did you ensure cat /dev/video0 file.ts create a playable file? That could be an analog tuner. Personally I use the source tuner which gets sym linked to the video device

/dev/v4l/by-id/usb-AMBA_Hauppauge_HD_PVR_00A3770C-video-index0

I also remux via ffmpeg since I have never liked the h/w mux quality.

It looks like the netcore install failed remove /tmp/dotnet-install.sh and try again using the dpkg command line.

I can confirm the dotnet install script from Microsoft is no longer working which screws things up big time.
