Bad tuning, Missing channels

Yes, sometimes these channels are missing too, but that's not the rule. Sometimes these are seen and no others are seen. When the computer is restarted or after standby, these are no longer seen and those that were not seen before are seen, it is not that specific channels are missing. This is what perplexes me, a channel that I see now I will soon not see it again, it almost seems to lose the tuning data. Please don't take me for a fool :-)

could it be that my 'DigitalDevices CineC2T2 V7' tuners are not compatible with NextPVR or maybe the drivers are not compatible, are there others here who use these cards?

Believe me we don't think you are a fool but perhaps because you are using Google translate the translation is not always correct.

The reason I asked for the capture file was that we really didn't understand the problem. It seems that the issue is not missing channels but channels that disappear and reappear and that is much harder to diagnose. Assuming you don't have MediaPortal even running I is hard to say what is the cause.

There are two Windows config.xml settings that sub might need to explain, perhaps increase the first one to 8000 restart the server and see if that helps.

<ScanCollectionMS>3000</ScanCollectionMS>
<ScanDropTime>3000</ScanDropTime>

You shouldn't have to scan the device often, but there is a potential issue with NextPVR that you might need to restart the server after a scan and don't delete the since your previous scan should never disappear.

Also work only on one tuner and when it has all your channels copy to the other tuners.

Hi Martin, Thanks for the advice, in fact applying the changes you advised me .. things are very, very .. improved, I'm doing some tests and then decide what to do but for the moment everything seems to be fine, Indeed I took the liberty instead of entering the value 8000 as you advised .. 12000. Hi all, I'm posting again after doing further tests (installed Windows 11) and making changes to my reception system, I replaced the TV antenna and the cable connected to my tuners, the received signal according to my installer is very strong, but in spite of everything I can't get smooth and constant operation of the program, my installer told me that the program is "deaf" (not very sensitive) it has a very high reception threshold, I don't know what to do anymore.

NextPVR doesn't do the tuning, it is a feature of Windows called BDA which would be the same components used by MediaPortal. If MediaPortal works as you expect it would be scanning issue, not a sensitivity issue.

thanks for the reply, my technician is a good antenna installer but evidently.. he doesn't understand much about software :-) .. I limited myself to reporting his impression. I kindly ask you if it is possible to make further tests or attempts, I would like to use Nextpvr.. As you will have understood
