Bugs when changing channels in Desktop App

I set everything to LAV including MPEG Audio.

The audio plays on the radio stations but instead of showing the station the Desktop App fails to show it, goes back into guide and then after a brief wait plays the radio station while in the guide and it stays playing when moving around the Desktop App and there is no way to stop it playing other than closing the App.

When you launch the radio channel with the LAV decoder and have NextPVR not full screen can you open the LAV Audio Decoder tray app and check the audio properties? The LAV audio decoder generally has reasonable quality audio. Not too different from Kodi, VLC, Emby, Plex, Jellyfin, mpv etc that use ffmpeg.

No. There is no LAV decoder displayed in the tray at all when the station eventually starts playing.
The problem is that DVB Radio Stations will not display in the Desktop app when I try to listen to them though the guide by clicking on Listen in the programme call out (the station will display properly if I click on Watch though). Instead the call out window goes back into the TV Guide without playing and then a frew seconds later the station starts playing and there is now no way to stop it playing without closing the app compleately. This happens whether I use LAV or any other decoder.
How do I stop the station from playing after it goes back into the Guide?

If you don't have the the tray app showing then you probably don't have LAV32 installed or you disabled the app.

Indeed, by design with "Listen" there is no UI so it makes sense it goes back to the guide. Because of the low bitrate of audio it can take a few seconds to buffer. That all sounds normal.

Ctrl-S is how to stop it or Stop on a remote.

Thanks. Ctrl-S works. Settings > Decoders shows all the LAV decoders are there and they can all be selected and the selection saved. The stream also works with the other decoders I have installed.

Has the crash when pressing the down arrow in the Desktop App when watching the first channel in the Guide been fixed yet? When doing this and it crashes and the next channel is a radio station the station plays after a few seconds but sometimes it cannot be stopped even with Ctrl-S.

To reproduce: Start a fresh instance of the Desktop App. Select the first channel in the TV Guide and click on Watch. Press the Down Arrow on the on-screen display.

This will give the following error message...
