Also consider setting the PIN back to zero and erasing any permanent sids' especially since it is still localhost (that is why I asked your to try the real IP)

I'm getting nowhere with this.  The strange thing is the desktop app has been perfectly normal.  Setting up Nextpvr from scratch actually only takes a few minutes.  I've done it enough times so it's not normally a problem.  But this was the first time I have ever installed it and then tried to import my the stuff over from the old PC.  I must have done something wrong at that point because I was able to log in using the default admin / password a few times during the initial install and set up.    But after I copied over the old data that's when I lost the ability to log in.

Eureka .. found and fixed. I have been changing the config login name and password code trying to get it to revert back to the default. Never had any success. So tonight I started up the old PC and took a look at the config name and pass code there and copied that data again back over to the new PC config. It "looked" the same as what I ported over during the original transfer, but this tme I typed in the user and pass manually. And suddenly my old original name and password WORKED. I can only guess during the file transfer of the config file the password (although it looked perfect) had some kind of problem. I'm at a loss to explain it. So I finally have access to the web client.
